What is Fibrocrete?
Helpful Links

Fibrocrete is an open-cell, light-weight concrete which we utilize to produce our Fibrocrete Panels. These panels are the basis for our proprietary construction method, the Fibrocrete Building System. The Fibrocrete wall panel is entirely manufactured and cured in factory molds. The panel includes long lasting exterior treatments such as vinyl siding, stucco, brick, stone and other masonry finishes.

Each panel consists of 50% lightweight Fibrocrete and 50% high-strength concrete. By using this mixture, there is a 40% reduction in weight and an 80% improvement in sound transmission coefficient when compared to traditional concrete structures.

The Fibrocrete Building System is an extremely efficient, high-quality construction process. It can be employed in the construction of single-family, multi-family or commercial structures. Once on site, the exterior walls and roof trusses for a home can be installed by a relatively small team of workers in one day.

In addition, the Fibrocrete Building System produces significant cost advantages over conventionally built wood structures by eliminating eight expensive and labor intensive steps in the building process.

"I'm going to live to see the day when a working man's house can be built of concrete in a week... If I succeed, it will take from the city slums everybody who is worth taking."

Quote Thomas Edison 1910
